Why is she named Emilie? Long Story short, we named her after Émilie du Châtelet, a French Mathematician, based solely on 1 of her famous quotes: “Let us be certain of who we want to be. Let us choose for ourselves our path in life, and let us strew that path with flower.” We feel that this quote is so appropriate to us all & I want anyone who encounters Emilie in the future will be inspired by it.
You say ‘We’ a lot. Who is ‘We’? Joanne (the owner, head farmer, head bouquet maker & etc…)and Emilie (the truck).
What’s the top speed of Emilie? 45mph on downhill at best (according reluctant farm husband).
